ICEBERGS!!!!!!!

Lake Michigan is not only AMAZING in the summer but provides an amazing site in the winter.....my kids commented on how God is so cool....the things He thinks of!?!?! WOW!

SNOW DAYS!!!!

Home again! This snow day business is becoming a once a week occurance here in Western Michigan....I'm usually ALL FOR snowdays...but enough is enough! :-) Yesterday it was a FRIGID 5 degrees with a below 20 wind chill.....winds blowing around 30 miles an hour all day.....a good reason to play hours of Guitar Hero and Wii bowling!!!!!! I thought I would include a picture of Kami...doing something that we northern folk do in the dead of winter! I was with her and we had a blast......not to mention the nature center grounds were beautiful!

Yippee for successful surgery.....tonight she told me it was worth it....procedure was last Thursday so 3 days later and she is happy about it! YEAH......her ear doctors description of what they took out and cleared up was a bit....nasty! Needless to say she is better off without what they took away!?!?!? :-)

Say a prayer for this happy smiling child as she gets yet another set of ear tubes put in, along with the removal of adenoids. This surgery will take place Jan. 24th....she understands all to well the "pokes" that go with these kinds of things. Pray for little or no side effects, quick healing and restoration of her hearing!!!! By the way she will be 11, that's E-L-E-V-E-N, next week Thursday the 17th!!!!!

Snowing in Michigan! FINALLY! We can finally sled on our hill and kids on winter break can be outdoors! Seems odd but the thing to be doing now is making SUMMER camping reservations! Hard to believe that in 6 months it MIGHT be warm and sunny outdoors! Hoping everyone had a safe beginning to their 2008!
